Sigiriya is archeology  place.sigiriya is build by king kashyapa.the height of this rock is 600 feet.we can see mirror walls and landscaped gardens.wecan see some ruin of ancient palace in  top of the rock.flight of steps we climb we can see a huge carved lion.earlier sigiriya  called ''sinhagiri''.later it becomes sigiriya.

Mr.senarath paranavithana is a commissioner of archeology who wrotes several books about sigiriya.we should protect our beautiful places.
