C.W.W kannangara full name is kristopher william wijekoon.he was born in 13th october 1884.he is born in randobe.randhobe  is situated in balapitiya and near to ambalangoda.he did his primary education from randhobe Wesley mishanari college.in 6 years his lost his mother.After 14 years he got a scholarship for galle richmond college.he got many experience from his school he was a famous talented dibbeter.he is a member of football team and leader of cricket team.he is an also an actor.in 1903 british empier cambridge junior examination.he got highest marks for mathematics for this exam.later he finished schooling and he become a teacher in richmond college,  wesley college and princess of wales in moratuwa.he excelled as a lawyer in southern province.he was elected to the ceylon legislative council as minister of education at the state council.he was commonly known as ''the father of free education''.
